Workshop Stranded Colourwork

In this workshop you will learn how to create color patterns in your knitting. You will learn how to knit with multiple colors at the same time, you will learn how to make your own color pattern, how to make the color pattern stand out best, how to ensure that you maintain the correct thread tension, ... In short, after this workshop you have mastered all the techniques to knit such beautiful Norwegian color patterns. A work sheet and a pattern for a cowl with a 2-color jacquard pattern are provided to learn the technique. There is the option to adjust the color pattern of the cowl to your own preferences.

The main language of this workshop is Dutch but please get in touch if you'd prefer to receive the instructions in English during the workshop.

The workshop room is only accessible through stairs. If this isn't possible for you, please get in touch and we'll organise the workshop on the ground floor.

For this workshop you must at least be able to cast on and knit/purl.

The pattern for the cowl is included, as well as hot/cold drinks, a tasty snack and lots of fun.

Yarn and knitting needles are not included. The necessary yarn is as knitting kit purchased in the webshop or during the workshop. You can bring your own knitting needles but can also be purchased with the knitting kit. When ordering in the webshop, choose the 'pick-up' option to avoid shipping costs.
