The raw materials are carefully selected. The pelts come from local or regional farms, but more commonly from France, Europe, Central Asia or wool-producing countries in the southern hemisphere. In Creuse, in the various spinning workshops, these materials are processed into carded or combed yarn, roving or ribbon, respecting the traditional methods of spinning wool.
For the new knitting kits we work with Fonty yarns for the knitting kits. Fonty "La filature de Rougnat" is one of the last active wool spinning and dyeing factories in France. They produce high-quality yarns from animal pelts and vegetable fibers of natural origin, using fur from local or regional farms as much as possible. So fair yarns, both for humans and animals, in beautiful colors and qualities. A pleasure to work with and to wear.
