Like with the other Vloed design, the design for the Vloed Scarf was inspired by the movements of water, especially of the sea. The flowing brioche stitch pattern, created by increases and decreases, mimics the way water comes and goes, with waves gently crashing on the shore. To make sure the wavy edges are nice and firm, a small I-cord is worked at both edges. The pattern is written for 3 sizes, varying in both length and width. The smallest one fits around the neck just once with a knot, while the largest can be doubled with longer ends. It's a fun and engaging knit resulting in an eye-catching scarf.

- 1 (2, 2) skein(s) Fonty Nimbus (100% French and Portuguese merino, 50g / 150 m) or 1 (1, 2) skein(s) Rauma Garn Alpakka Lin (48% baby alpaca, 44% linen, 8% wool, 50g / 175 m) (samples are worked in size 1 in Fonty Nimbus (0701), in size 2 in Rauma Garn Alpakka Lin (1398) and in size 3 in Fonty Nimbus (0705)

- 3.5 mm / US 4 interchangeable needles and 1 cable for a total length of 60 cm / 18". You also need double pointed needles or an extra set of circular needles for this pattern.
