Vloed was inspired by the movements of water, especially of the sea. The flowing brioche stitch pattern, created by increases and decreases, mimics the way water comes and goes, with waves gently crashing on the shore. To make sure the wavy edges are nice and firm, a small i-cord is worked at both edges. The headband is worked flat. When finished, the cast on and bind off edges are sewn together to create a twist at the front.
